Personal Chat & Community Chat on Doma
Learn how to use Personal Chat to DM other Doma users, and Community Chat to connect with token communities directly on domain token pages. Built to bring conversation into trading.
Trading domain tokens doesn't have to be a solo experience. With Personal Chat and Community Chat, you can connect directly with other users and the communities forming around the tokens you care about.
What It Is
We've added two new chat features on Doma:
- Personal Chat: DM other users directly, whether that's a fellow domainer, a friend, or anyone else on Doma
- Community Chat: a public chat space for token communities, live on every domain token page
Where to Find It
Personal Chat
The personal chat icon sits at the top of the page, next to your notifications bell. Click it to start a new chat with a friend, domainer, or any other user.
Community Chat
Navigate to any domain token page — for example, software.ai. Above the chart on the right side, you'll find the community chat icon. Click it to jump into the public conversation happening around that token.
Why We Built This
Domains aren't just assets, they're communities. Every tokenized domain carries a story, a brand, and a group of people who believe in it, and the best markets are built on the conversations happening around them, not just the trades.
Personal Chat makes it easy to connect one-on-one with the people you meet across Doma, while Community Chat gives every domain token a home for its holders to talk, share alpha, and build together in real time. As DomainFi grows, we want Doma to be the place where those conversations actually happen.
